Sundays Lakeside Park

1.
Afternoon in the garden

 Salute
to yon turtle

 Flesh-like
flowerss
abound

 In a stripey world
of sunlight and shade

 Come into the garden

Dome
aerating
 water

 Permeable
roof

 Oh
I could die
in delicacy now

 Ringing like
little bells

 Sensuous
edible color

 Color-junkie
don't want to go to re-hab
I said, no, no, no

A deep pocket
of green

Outside

 Indigo capture

A Euro-kid
 skirting the fountain

 Transient joy

Skips after his
visiting Euro-family
where they let kids
be kids a while

 A cathedral bell

It's hue
was subtle
and endearing

What lies beyond
these strange fronds

 A bed of
strange flowers

Lady slippers,
they lead me on

 Almost a fetish

2.
August evening

 Return
after sundown

 Bulbous
and all-encompassing

The necklace of lights

A gondola
in a slip stream
of light
