Summer Travels Part II

2.
Bus Travel

Oh wow

Can you dig the shirt?

Hand-painted silk with
vintage booze bottle paintings
So very Oakland cool
That classic hat

A land whose heyday
was in the stylish noir past

Looks like his stop

Up he goes

There's the shirt

Adios,
Mr Cool
of Summer

Shorts of course

Heading home in time
for his cocktail hour
Unaware that he had
an anonymous admirer
today

3.
Night Time
is the Right Time

Fire
pool-side

The marine layer
approaches
like fate
like destiny

An old industrial
worker ship
trudges silently past

On the stern of
The Sea Wolf
a bird hunting

At the wine bar
outdoor table
a bird hunting

A talented
balancer of stones
was recently here

Twins peaks tower
can't pin back
the relentless fog

Always weird surveillance vehicles,
Frontline indeed

Take a picture of you too
naturally it comes out
a faceless blank

In the good old
summer time

The Devil made me do it
the first time,
Second time I did it myself
(country song on radio)

Feel like I've
been there done that
know the feeling well

The white Adonis,
 the sour old closet queen,
the attractive girl,
the hard white guy
the hard and evil black guy
the hard chick

Roll up
a new green
audience

All the thrill
I need

Woodward's Gardens

4.

Chrysanthemum
mania

Antique English plate
Berkeley free box find

Flowers in the garden
at Lakeside Park

Lady Slippers
a wee bit ghostly

Colors over-pour
resplendent

An entheogenic
world
open to all

Color therapy
for the
neurasthenic

Take a giant step

outside your mind

Lady slippers
love woodchips
rough open
semi-shady patches

Color quest
mood indigo
you ain't been blue

Peace out
a bench in
 the Palmatarium
