Make America Gestapo Again

People's Park targeted
for new student housing

The Daily Californian
Friday 27 January 2017

Wow it took all of one week of the Drumpf reich

for Dirks office to announce building plans
where young people's blood
flowed out of their bodies
and was buried in the mud

Wondered aloud how long it would take
here as elsewhere,
Degrade the poor and chase out the artists
and activists with relentless rent increases
and turn it over to former homeland security head
Neopolitano
how long could it stand?
And it's for the children
the students need housing at the ever-expanding
University of the Cash Register
Under Construction
Chagrin Falls
Dystopia Parkway
The constant unconstitutional
surveillance, beady greedy eyes
waited for the definitive signs of weakness
in any imaginable resistence
I bet the creeps at Amoeba are happy

Let's see where this goes
should be interesting
in a revolting dispiriting
way-of-the world way

lame duck sauce

PS:
 In the same issue:
Library Gardens Apartments
where the Irish students were housed
and where they died due to negligent builders
is changing its name to hide all that
"Alternative facts" applauded
by UC faculty and Daily Cal alike
And Dirks refused to cancel the intentional
alt-right provocateur named Milo
leaving a trail of blood
on campuses nation-wide
Dirks cites the spirit of the Free Speech Movement
which naturally excludes criticism of
the Zionist state,

 Milo's coming on February first

Supermoon haiku

Lie on a table
my head outside the window
moon counting backward

Not so warm tonight
dusty moth under my lamp
hibernation time

Going past taverns
freight trains finish sentences
it's time, gentlemen

Super-moon so bright
hurts my eyes to look away
then look back again

Through a misty veil
in maximal tumescence
lunar tidal bulb

Restless gull circuit
gravity beneath the wind
evening before rain
