Supermoon haiku

Lie on a table
my head outside the window
moon counting backward

Not so warm tonight
dusty moth under my lamp
hibernation time

Going past taverns
freight trains finish sentences
it's time, gentlemen

Super-moon so bright
hurts my eyes to look away
then look back again

Through a misty veil
in maximal tumescence
lunar tidal bulb

Restless gull circuit
gravity beneath the wind
evening before rain
