Winter comes to Lake Merritt

Regrettably the Garden gate is locked again

Yet flowers grow within you and without you

The greater park is a lovely gambol

I generally always reach my epiphany

Engulphed

Youth restored

The wise old guy occupies his smoke spot bench

 

Myriad wonders to behold

 

 

 

 

New flowers reach out for me

in solidarity with the worker bee

Elephantine fronds beckon

 

The California Poppy crosses the landscape 

 

 

 

 

Incarnadine succulents spring to life

The spiral universe unfurls

 

Blue-green fingers, I feel you

Locked out of the Edenic garden once more

 

The creatures are restive this time of year

 with that same thing in mind:

 the extension of life

The web of life

The efflorescence of life

The ageless tree of life
